Jewelry care instructions

Here are some tips for maintaining your jewelry to make it last longer and keep it in top condition for as long as possible.
What to avoid?
1. Extreme heat
Resin does not tolerate high temperatures, and UV radiation can cause it to turn yellow, so it is not recommended to leave your jewelry in a place where it is directly exposed to the sun. Although we use the highest quality resin on the market, with UV filters, we still advise you to follow these instructions because no resin manufacturer guarantees that the resin will not turn yellow over time.
2. Sharp objects
Anything with a sharp edge can scratch the resin, and small scratches, if there are a lot of them, can create a dull appearance for your jewelry.
3. Water
If your jewelry is occasionally exposed to water, this is not a problem, but it is still recommended to dry it after it comes into contact with water. What can cause premature tarnishing is showering with your jewelry or swimming in the sea, etc.
The bracelets are made of suede leather, so it is recommended to remove the bracelet before showering and washing your hands.
4. Chemicals
Chemicals that damage the surface of epoxy resin, and which we often use, are aggressive cleaning agents, acetone and alcohol. Given that alcohol is a component of most perfumes, we recommend that you do not apply perfume to a place where the jewelry could come into contact with it.
5. Oils
The main "culprit" for matting the surface of the resin is the oils produced by human skin. If you periodically clean your jewelry of oil, you will make it last longer.
How to clean jewelry?
All you need is a soft non-abrasive cloth, mild detergent and warm water. After washing the jewelry, dry it thoroughly.
The metal parts we use in making jewelry are made of stainless steel, and the wooden parts are coated with waterproof varnish.
How to store jewelry?
When you are not wearing your jewelry, prevent its damage by keeping it in a closed box or bag, without other jewelry or objects that can scratch the resin. It is recommended to store it in a dark, dry place at room temperature. To keep your jewelry dry, you can store it together with a small bag of silica gel.
